So you are serious about weight loss but unsure how to get started.
If you haven’t exercised in a long time or you’re new to exercise and are worried about starting out, then begin slowly and add to your weekly routine as you grow stronger. Aim to expend about 350 calories per workout. A half hour jog or 1 hour walk is about the same as 250 calories. If you prefer to exercise indoors try a fitness class. Make sure you stretch afterwards and drink plenty of water.
Remember to complement your activity plan with a diet that contains whole grains, fruits, vegetables and lean protein. If you need help with food look here.
